Rodger Gallagher

Rodger has been on the Raglan Community Arts Council since 2003 and his work has seen a greater use made of the Raglan Old School Arts Centre as a focal point for the arts in Whaingaroa.   He is working to continue developing the building as a viable Arts Centre while conserving an important heritage building.  He wants to carry on ensuring the building and all its resources and services continue to thrive.
He is the Managing Director of Customer Value Management, New Zealand, Ltd., a Raglan based firm providing business consulting and research services around the world. He is one of the leading experts in using Customer Value Management.
Prior to starting his own firm in 1995, Rodger was Project Manager for the Customer Value Project at Telecom New Zealand. Collaborating with Ray Kordupleski and West Vogel (from AT&T at the time), he deployed a customer satisfaction and value approach using the then unpublished Customer Value Added techniques. Rodger has successfully used the approach to improve the value delivered to many clients allowing them to defend or grow market share.
In addition to an interest in the arts, Rodger is delving into Raglan’s history.  He has prepared two historic walk brochures and is on the New Raglan Museum team.
